The RAM 1500 Rebel is the perfect truck for a new generation of owners, one of the new breed. More fuel-efficient, lighter and capable than ever, the RAM 1500 Rebel is loaded with high-technology fitment throughout. It's frankly a thrilling vehicle that can do almost anything.

Tons of Features and Capabilities

For 2020, the new RAM 1500 Rebel is available in Quad Cab and Crew Cab versions. Power with the RAM 1500 is available from a variety of sources, which include a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine mated to RAM's e-Torque Mild-Hybrid system. This impressive powerplant produces 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque, which is augmented by a momentary 90 lb-ft of torque as needed for a sudden boost in acceleration or extra towing capability.

Secondly, there is also a choice of an e-Torque version of the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine. That legendary HEMI engine provides 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. The e-Torque system adds a boost of 130 lb-ft of momentary torque. This same 5.7-liter engine is also available without the mild-hybrid function. Both HEMI engines utilize Fuel Saver Technologies to deactivate four of the eight cylinders for more fuel efficiency.

HOW eTorque WORKS:  The eTorque mild-hybrid system uses a motor-generator (essentially an electric motor) and a 48-volt battery pack that accelerates the start/stop function, and provide a short-term torque boost. Secondary benefits of the eTorque system include brake energy regeneration.

If towing or torque are necessary requirements for your RAM 1500 Rebel, a new 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 engine is available. Making 260 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque, it is capable of achieving up to 22 mpg city/32 mpg highway.

The Rebel includes a specialized suspension that rides on 18-inch wheels with 33-inch off-roading tires. It is also equipped with an electronic-locking rear differential, a coil spring suspension with Bilstein shock absorbers and a one-inch factory lift.

All versions of the RAM 1500 Rebel are delivered with FCA's eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmissions.

It's Quiet Inside!

New chassis enhancements on the RAM 1500 Rebel help to add a bit of luster. These enhancements include Active Noise Cancellation in the cabin and frame-mounted active tuned mass modules (ATMM). These and other refinements help to make the Rebel one of the quietest vehicles on the road today.

And speaking of in-cabin features, the RAM 1500 Rebel is equipped with the new fourth-generation Uconnect 5.0 system as its base offering.  Optional packages include the Uconnect 8.4 system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen. Finally, order the Rebel 12 Equipment group for the 900-watt, 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with a class-exclusive 12-inch configurable touchscreen display. There's also a Qi wireless charging pad and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic detection.
